A systematic review on pain in children with JIA

Pain and its associated factors in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA): A systematic review

Our team is conducting a systematic review on pain in children with JIA to determine the biological, psychological, and social risk and protective factors associated with or predictive of pain in children with JIA.

The objective of our review is to synthesize the literature on juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA)-related pain to determine: (1) the biological, psychological, and social factors associated with JIA pain (intensity or frequency or sensitivity), and (2) the prognostic factors associated with the persistence of JIA pain (intensity or frequency or sensitivity).
